“My website does not show in Google” can mean that a page is not indexed or that it is indexed but ranks poorly for a particular search. These require different investigations. Start with a specific URL and query rather than a general judgment about the entire domain.
Check indexing first
If Search Console access is available, inspect the URL and read the reported reason for its status. Confirm that the page opens, lacks an unintended noindex instruction and points to the expected canonical address. A website may retain restrictions from its development environment.
If the page is indexed
Check whether it answers the searcher’s task. A general services page may not explain a specific service sufficiently. Review the title, main content and internal links. For a local business, describe the actual service area rather than adding addresses where the business does not operate.
- The exact URL and search phrase.
- Publication date or the latest major change.
- Search Console status and selected canonical.
- Recent migration or URL restructuring.
- Important pages linking to the material.
Avoid automatic-fix assumptions
Submitting a sitemap does not guarantee indexing or strong rankings. Repeated indexing requests do not replace fixing an identified cause. Another plugin cannot make unsuitable content useful for a search on its own.
Request an evidence-based investigation
Provide the examples and available status information. Ask the diagnosis to distinguish confirmed technical barriers from hypotheses about content or competition. Each recommended change should have a follow-up verification method.
How long will visibility take?
There is no universal deadline. Discovery, crawling and processing all affect timing. A promise of a first-page position by a fixed date is not a substitute for a plan. Agree what will be investigated, corrected and monitored before committing to ongoing SEO work.
